Chez Little, l’accent anglais d’Amy berce nos minis-hôtes de la crèche de Saint-Seurin mais aussi vos joyeux trublions tous les mardis matins aux Chartrons, au sein des ateliers Little English ! We’re happy to finally introduce our sweet Amy to you…
▲ WHAT’S YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND ? ▲
After working in early years care and education and early years special education in the UK, I trained to teach english as a second language when I arrived in Bordeaux 6 years ago.
▲ WHAT DO YOU PROPOSE TO THE KIDS IN YOUR WORKSHOPS ? ▲
Group activities, craft activities, songs, games – all in english ! Here is my general organisation for a workshop but it’s very flexible and depends on the group and the mood :
• 5 minutes “warm up” saying hello to the group
• 15-20 mins singing and movement (dancing)
• 15-20 minutes “play” time or “creative hands” time
• 5 minutes “cool down” saying goodbye
▲ WHAT’S YOUR BEST PROFESSIONAL MEMORY ? ▲
The final classes of Little English last year, the children were so happy together and we really connected as a group.
▲ WHAT’S LITTLE FOR YOU ? ▲
The place where I learn new things about children and working in a team, every day
